    NorthShore Health Centers is a non-profit federally qualified community health clinic in Portage, Merrillville, Lake Station, Hammond, or Chesterton, Indiana.

    NorthShore’s seven Indiana health clinics provide all kinds of care to everyone including the uninsured and underinsured patients in Porter and Lake counties. Their board certified doctors, nurse practitioners, midwives, and dentists specialize in many areas including Family Practice, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Optometry services, and Dental services.

    Their sliding-scale fees for qualifying patients ensure that no one has to go without medical attention when he or she needs it. Their services are provided regardless of ability to pay. They take Medicaid and Hoosier Healthwise recipients, privately insured individuals, uninsured individuals; everyone, of any age, sex, race or religion.
